In the morning on October 23, the symposium for the academician workstation of BIOHIT Healthcare (Hefei) Co., Ltd. was successfully held at Swan Lake Hotel in Hefei. Guests present at the symposium included Shujun Cheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Science, Yuliang Bai, the former secretary-general of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ji Xia, deputy director of Anhui Science and Technology Agency, Xincui Yang, deputy director of Anhui Science and Technology Bureau, Jianhua Dai, secretary-general of Anhui Association for Academicians and Experts, Lu Cao, deputy director of BIOHIT general office and so on. 

The conference was presided over by Yalu Cai, the vice-general manager of BIOHIT. Feng Liu, the general manager of BIOHIT, gave a report on the progress of the academician cooperation project over the past year. Academician Shujun Cheng extended full affirmation to the phased fruits achieved by the project, and indicated that “scientists would hardly make a single step without entrepreneurs, while entrepreneurs would accomplish nothing without scientists”. He hoped that the academician workstation could transform sci-tech fruits as soon as possible to “benefit common people”.

During the symposium, leaders present introduced the conditions of academician workstations in Anhui and in Hefei respectively, and said they would give full support to the construction of academician workstation and would provide considerate services for academicians. 

The conference was rounded off in a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.
