On March 12, 2019, Ms. Li Wang, chairman of the Labor Union of BIOHIT Healthcare (Hefei) Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the first session of the 6thWomen Workers’ Committee of Anhui Federation of Trade Union. Held in Hefei, the Session was attended by Dai Shi, vice chairman of All-China Federation of Trade Unions and secretary of the secretariat, Ming Li, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People’s Congress and the chairman of Anhui Federation of Trade Unions, Facheng Xu, secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Anhui Federation of Trade Unions and so on, and was presided over by Facheng Xu.

On the session, the work of the 5thWomen Workers’ Committee was summarized, and the work task for the next five years was assigned. Dai Shi and Ming Li extended full affirmation of the work in the past five years, and stressed that trade unions at all levels in Anhui must firmly keep to the right political direction, extensively assemble the wisdom and forces of women employees across the province, go deep into Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for A New Era, earnestly study the General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on the work of the working class, trade unions and women, enhance political sensitivity, firmly grasp the theme of labor movement in China, and rally and lead women employees to make their contributions as masters in the new era.

At this session, the first leading group for the 6thWomen Workers’ Committee of Anhui Federation of Trade Union was elected. Ms. Li Wang, chairman of BIOHIT’s labor union, was elected as the deputy director of Women Workers’ Committee. She swore that she would carry out the movements in a deep way to improve the quality of women employees, do solid work, keep pace with the times, provide practical services for women employees, and have women employees give full play to their role as “half the sky” and fully exhibit their brilliance in the new era.
