From April 18 to April 19, 2015, the “Launching and Exchange Meeting of Research Topics on Multi-center Application of Appropriate Technologies for Health Management”, hosted by China Health Promotion Foundation and sponsored by China Health Promotion Foundation and Fujian Second People’s Hospital, was held in Fuzhou Yongtai successfully. Shuzhong Bai, Chairman of China Health Promotion Foundation, delivered the opening speech, and Director Gang Chen chaired the meeting. This meeting focused on the research of multi-center application of appropriate technology for health management, and announced the launch of topics such as the “Multicenter Application of Serum Detection of G-17 Combined with PG in Early Gastric Carcinoma Screening”. The initiation of these programs will further enrich China’s health management technologies and methods.

At this meeting, Professor Zhaoshen Li, Executive Director of the Chinese Medical Association, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy and Director of the Gastroenterology Department of Changhai Hospital of Shanghai, introduced how to improve the early diagnosis and early treatment of gastric carcinoma in China. In addition, Professor Qin Cao from the Health Management Center of Shanghai Renji Hospital introduced how to screen for gastric carcinoma by using G-17 combined with PG; Professor Zhenya Song from the International Health Center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University introduced the practice and prospects of screening high-risk populations for gastric carcinoma in the Health Management Center.
